Skye Sands Pty Ltd is privately owned by the French Family since 1972. Skye Sands have over 45 years dedicated to providing quality sand, specialty blended sand products, soil & clay fill suitable for the manufacture of pre-mixed concrete, road construction, bricklaying bedding, top soiling & filling applications.
Skye Sands production is supported by experienced multi skilled operators with senior sales & technical staff over seeing & providing the necessary contact & support between the company & its customers.
Skye Sands have modern and efficient earthmoving processing equipment utilized for excavating, transporting and processing product within our quarry.
Skye Sands is a major wholesale supplier of both large and small premixed companies, mini mix garden supplies, major builders, landscapers & brick layers.
Our products are used throughout Victoria.
Products
Skye White Lite
This product is the Lightest Off white/yellow colour of the Brick Sands. And is our most popular sand. It is much less “fatty” than the Brick Sand. It’s ideally used in cement to make a morta for brick laying. A natural Product that may vary in colour and texture.
Skye White
White Washed Mineral Sand
White wash sand great for Horse Arenas, Children’s Sandpits, Paving Etc. A natural Product that may vary in colour and texture.
Skye Yellow Lite
This product is the Lightest Yellow/orange colour of the Brick Sands. It is much less “fatty” then the Brick Sand. It’s ideally used in cement to make a morta for brick laying. A natural Product that may vary in colour and texture.
Skye Yellow
Screened Packing Sand
Packing Sand is our “fatty” sand with the highest clay content. Ideally used for packing around water tanks, pool foundations or even compacted under a path.
Screened Top Soil
A basic top soil. Nothing fancy, Just soil with a little bit of sand. Great for toping up the garden or levelling the yard.
Outback Red Sand
Unique Rich Red Decorative sand, as seen in Cranbourne Botanical Gardens in their ‘red centre’ area.
